New Building Inauguration of B.Ed College at Agarpara on 18 September 2025.
Swami Vivekananda College of Education for Women, a B.Ed. institution, marked a significant milestone on September 18, 2025, with the inauguration of its new building at Agarpara Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission. The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Honorable Speaker of Bidhan Sabha, Sri Biman Bandhopadhyay, as the Chief Guest, Honorable Former Chief Justice Sri Shyamal Kumar Sen, and the Respected MLA of Panihati Assembly.
The event commenced with a captivating song and dance performance by students of Agarpara Swami Vivekananda Academy. The Principal and faculty members warmly welcomed the dignitaries. In his welcome address, Secretary Maharaj of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission, Swami Nityarupananda ji, highlighted the institution's history, its journey, and the struggles faced in its reopening. He also expressed hope for establishing Ramakrishna Pramahansa University as a unit under the Mission.
The guests appreciated the Mission's tireless efforts and expressed their best wishes for the college's success as a prominent learning centre. The program concluded on a poignant note with soulful songs performed by students with special needs from the Suryapur unit of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission.
