Most respected Sri Ram Nath Kovindji, Hon’ble Former President of India, other dignitaries on the dias, my brother monks, dear students, staff, guardians and well wishers – I welcome you all in this holy celebration of Golden Jubilee Building inauguration ceremony – on the holy day of Sri Sri Ram Navami. I sincerely pray blessings of Bhagawan Sri Ramachandra for you all on this auspicious moment. I express our heartfelt gratitude to Sri Ram Nath Kovindji for sharing his valuable time with us in this ceremony which shows his kindness and love for the social work the Mission is doing.
In Sri Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita – Sri Sri Thakur used to refer a stanza many time said by Saint Tulsidas that –
ওহি রাম দশরথ কে বেটা
ওহি রাম ঘট ঘট মে লেটা
ওহি রাম জগৎ পসেরা
ওহি রাম সবসে ন্যারা ।
This is the cream of Indian Sanatan philosophy, which our organization has been practicing through its thoughts and activities. Simple meaning of this stanza is that “ Sri Ramachandra who is the son of Dasarath is present everywhere and He created this World being our dearest one.
If we could realize this Truth in our activities as visualized by Saint Tulsidas that the presence of God is everywhere then there will be no conflict, no contradiction and no war in this World.
Since last 50 years, Swami Nityanandaji, Founder of this organization has been preaching this lofty philosophy through the services of orphans, destitutes, disables and deserted children and destitute woman to realize Shiva in Jiva that is Shiva Jnane Jiva Seba. Now we are celebrating our Golden Jubilee occasion by inauguration of Golden Jubilee building at this Agarpara branch which has been inaugurated by our Hon’ble Chief Guest Sri Ram Nath Kovindji. By his august presence to this small function – we have been inspired to carry forward our Mission of Man-Making, Character-Building Education and Shiva Jnane Jiva Seva for more benefit to the people of India. This Golden Jubilee building is a part of proposed Ramakrishna Paramhansa University for which we are waiting kind approval of Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal.
You will be happy to know that Mission started in the year 1976 with 20 destitute children and now we are taking care of more than 1,200 such destitute children including deaf & blind girls. At the beginning of school there were 196 students and now we are imparting education to more than 19,000 students. I am also proud to say that I was a former student of the orphanage run by this Mission.
Now I could remember a great event of giving away Bharat Ratna Award to our great friend of this Mission, Sri Pranab Kumar Mukherjee, Former President of India at Rashtrapati Bhawan in the year 2019 by the kind hands of Sri Ram Nath Kovindji, the then President of India where I was also present as an invitee to join this ceremony. So I am fortunate to witness that great event. I convey my deep respect to all who have contributed for development of this organization for last 50 years – many of them are alive and many of them have left this World. Be their Souls be united with us in Golden Jubilee Celebration of this Mission.
At the end of my speech I extend my heartiest thanks to Lundiaji and Soniji also who are present on the dias for helping us a lot for success of this programme. I also express my sincere thanks to Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal and the Hon’ble Education Minister of West Bengal for their kindness to come here today to encourage us in our social endeavour.
সর্বে সুখিনঃ ভবন্তু, সর্বে সন্তু নিরাময়া ।
সর্বে ভদ্রানি পশ্যন্তু, মা কশ্চিৎ দুঃখভাগভবেৎ ।।
